The chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Kwabena Nyamekye has officially launched the 2019 Bible Week and Bible Reading Marathon at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle (interchange).
The 2019 Bible reading marathon which is jointly organize by the Pentecost Men's Ministry (PEMEM) and the Bible Society of Ghana.
The chairman indicated, this is to expose the community to the word of God.
six areas of the Church in the Greater Accra Region will read the entire Bible in turns, the portions assigned to them.
Apostle Eric Nyamekye stated, through the Bible reading marathon, we celebrate three things, namely;
1. We re-affirm the importance of reading and studying the Bible.
2. We celebrate religious freedom in Ghana
3. We demonstrate the desire that, all whom Christ died must be saved.
He encouraged Ghanaians to involve themselves and challenge their families to read the Bible.
