Second national best farmer in 2004, the Chief Executive Officer of Kumah farms, Training Center and also the Nkosuohene of Anwomaso Traditional area of the Oforikrom constituency of the Ashanti Region,Nana Kwaku Siaw has plead to the government, the ministry of Food and Agriculture to be very vigerant about the Cocoa mass Sprayers and their coordinator
According to him, some of the sprayers don't spray the farms well, the farm supposed to take 20 of filling of machine, they uses only 8 filling to complete and sell the rest. So he calls to the authorities to speak with them to spray it well so that we will generate more Cocoa in the country.
He also pleading to the government to increase the price of cocoa this season so that they can also survive in living, because it has been more than three( 3)good years there has no increment and there is consists increment of other good and services making difficult for them in life.
