DOUBLE-TRACK SYSTEM: ENSURE IT DOES NOT DISRUPT OUR EDUCATION
Network for Assin Development it has come to our notice that, government of Ghana has introduced new educational policy to address the increase in enrollment as a result of the free SHS policy.
Network for ASSIN Development appealing to the District Assemblies, traditional authorities to ensure that the Double -Track System introduced will not compound the already existing education challenges facing our communities.
We are calling on all stakeholders especially parents, teachers to ensure the smooth running of the policy in order not to destabilize their academic work.
We have also observed that there is a high school dropout as a result improper of monitoring of these young ones.More so, District Assemblies and traditional leaders must institute a taskforce to monitor the communities to asses and help improve teaching and learning in the country.
We want to assure the people of Assin that the Network will work assiduously by drawing the government’s attention to challenges hindering teaching and learning in the country so far as education is concern.
Speaking to the media, Mr Samuel Kwame Adobah, who is the convener of Network for Assin Development said that alot of the schools they have visited are lacking for infrastructure he added.
