The implementation of the Free SHS has come as a surprise to the NDC hence the front and back of their comments seems rather deceptive especially those from the leadership. Not quite long ago, the former president and the flag bearer of the NDC made a deceptive u-turn comment to continue the free SHS program when he gets the chance to become president again after sponsoring over thirty seven anti Free SHS campaign adverts in 2016 alone. Another cunning character and a deceitful character in the opposition NDC, Mr Johnson asiedu Nketia, the general Secretary of the party on nhyira FM, a Kumasi based radio station, confessed that the best policy ever implemented in the history of Ghana is the Free SHS.
These two characters and the NDC need not to be trusted when it comes to the management of our education especially the Free SHS. After various attacks on the implementation of the Free SHS, how sure are Ghanaians to entrust this pro poor policy into the care of anti Free SHS agents like Mahama and Asiedu Nketia.
Indeed Asiedu Nketia is right. The implementation of the Free SHS is the best policy so far and the best Managers of this policy are the implementers themselves, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo and the NPP Government.
Mahama stood on several campaign platforms during the 2016 electioneering period antagonised promises made by the then flag bearer of the NPP to implement the Free SHS. One of Mahama's information to Ghanaians then was that, Free shs is only possible after twenty years. The last time checked, after twenty years from 2016 will be 2036.
The only time Ghanaians may accept Mahama and his NDC on issues concerning Free shs should be after 2036. Ghanaians should not take chances. The best Managers of the Free SHS program are the implementers themselves.
