The founder and a herbal Doctor of Kwayisi Christian Herbal Clinic, the late Baffour Atua Kroko (I) over the weekend was honoured on a maiden event organized to honour outstanding industries and personalities in the Suhum Municipality who have contributed immensely towards the development of Suhumman. The Honouring and Awarding event dubbed "Suhum Industries and Personalities Honouring Awards is under the auspices of the Paramount Chief of Suhumman, Osabarima Ayeh Kofi (l) and organized by Kenness Multimedia Productions and Investments.


Baffour Atua Kroko (I) started healing with herbs as a hobby. A remarkable humanitarian gesture. Baffour Atua Kroko (I) is known in private life as Stephen Mintah Yirenkyi. After undergoing training as a Herbal practitioner from his uncle, he established a herbal treatment center in a temporary structure at Ayisaa near Nankese on the Suhum Koforidua road. As visionary as he was, considered the construction of a permanent structure which has become a reality now Kwayisi Christian Herbal Clinic. The center was known throughout the country and even beyond for the complete treatment of stroke and other chronic ailments and so attracted people from all walks of life who suffered from stroke to Ayisaa. 



The inevitable age was gradually catching up with Baffour Atua Kroko (I) and so trained one of his sons, Emmanuel Ampem Darko who has held the mantle to an excellent herbal treatment institution with several national and regional Awards to its credit.


The Honouring event which considered among Kwayisi Christian Herbal Clinic's excellent health care provision, its immense contribution towards the development of Suhumman is remarkable. 


Suhumman is proud to honor Baffour Atua Kroko (I) on this special occasion of celebrating its heroes.
