St. Michael’s Specialist Hospital Unveils Revamped Dental Unit to Enhance Holistic Healthcare Services

Over some years St. Michael’s Specialist Hospital (SMSH) has been a blessing to the people of Ghanaian at large with over exiting health care for their well being, this same hospital organized free health screening without any charges. Its a hospital with a vision and mission for the good people of Ghana and international.
Today this same hospital has is officially launch its revamped Dental Unit in Accra on the 11th of July 2025, at the hospital’s premises at Abete Link, Lapaz, Accra.
This launch marks a significant step in SMSH’s commitment to providing holistic and high-quality healthcare to the Ghanaian public. The revamped dental unit features state-of-the-art dental equipment, enhanced patient comfort, and a broader range of services, including Pediatric Dentistry, Cosmetic dentistry, Preventive and routine checkups, restorative treatments, crowns, dentures, and implants.
The unveiling event welcome corporate and insurance partners, customers, members of the community, and members of the hospital’s board. Guests received a tour of the facility and an introduction to the upgraded services now available.
“Good oral health is a key part of overall wellness,” said Dr. Laurencia Ankomah, Clinical Affairs Manager at St. Michael’s Specialist Hospital. “The refurbished Dental Unit reflects our continued investment in modern, patient-centered care and our belief in treating the whole person, not just symptoms.”
As part of our commitment to the community, we have set aside the month of July for a free dental assessment for all patients and the general public who walk into SMSH.
