IMMEDIATE RELEASE

 FEBRUARY 1st , 2019 .

 SWIFTLY SUMMON THE SECURITY MINISTER , INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE (IGP) AND THE ELECTORAL COMMISSIONER(EC) IN PARLIAMENT TO ANSWER QUESTIONS ON WHY

       It is with deep sorrows and worries as a citizen of the land do I write to express my deepest disappointment towards some unfortunate developments that unfolded yesterday during the bye-elections held at Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency of the greater Accra Region .

      Following the bye-elections held yesterday , I wish to bring to the attention of the Ghanaian public that , many , including I are not happy with many so developments I term as unfortunate and would require that Parliament which is the law making and acts as a regulatory body , summon  the national security minister in the person of Hon. Albert Kan-Dapaah , the Inspector General of Police(IGP , David Asante Apeatu) as well as the Electoral commissioner, Jean Mensah to parliament to answer questions on why ;

 1. An EC branded bag containing a huge number of ballot papers were allegedly found in the hands of the NPP chairman of the constituency in context . An act orchestrated by the ruling NPP

 2. Persons identified to be pure members of the Delta force could find themselves in police uniforms and national security T-shirts in the name of ensuring the safety of elections .

 3. A legitimate policeman whiles legitimately doing his job was attacked at the Prisons JHS Roman Ridge . An attack according to a statement released by CODEO(Coalition of Domestic Election Observers) , was carried out by security personnel who claimed to be National Security Operatives .

 4.No one or group of has by far been apprehended over the shooting , leading to the death of one believed to be a delegate.

 5. A legislator from the same region(Ningo Prampram) by name Hon. Samuel Dzata George was slapped , beaten and abused by persons identified to be invisible forces . I call for a swift action because majority of Ghanaians are are not safe, not even to talk of *the legitimate police and possibly our Heads of state , going into next year's general elections if these questions are not answered and that , WE WILL ADVICE AND PROTECT OURSELVES LIKEWISE TO SAVE OUR LIVES IF THESE QUESTIONS REMAIN UNANSWERED .

      I call on the media and the Ghanaian public to support this call in order to position the state of our security and the electoral commission ahead of next year's general elections.

    I also wish to chance on this and express my condolences to the bereaved family of the victim who lost his precious life yesterday in an attempt to exercise his franchise , not forgetting persons who sustained various forms of injuries by reason of the bye-election .

THANK YOU
