Fanteakwa South is part of the newly created District the president Nana Addo Danquah and the local government created last year March 2018.
Fanteakwa South was part of Fanteakwa North Begoro to hold as their Capital. Hon Adjaben Ntori who is the District Chief Executive for Fanteakwa South yesterday held their first Assembly meeting in the year 2019 and has stated some project the Assembly has done since the Assembly was created.
Expanding of their lorry station at Osino and Nsutam and passengers waiting shield, Roads construction, Sanitation and also find a large land for the Fulani herdsmen to keep their cattle into and make sure they don't distrust farmers and destroy their crops.
Hon Adjaben emphasised much on how his District is lacking sanitation said that the Assembly will find some money to enhance sanitation, they will communicate to the zoomlion company to offer them dustbins to display at vantage point to avoid littering around any how.
These meeting, some government officials like District Police Command at Osino, Forestry Commission Command, some heads of department in the assembly, District Director Mr John Vaadi, the Hon Assembly members, Presiding Member and some other dignitaries from different organisation, including the Member of Parliament Hon Kofi Okyere Agyekum known as Arafat were there to address the occasion.
