WE SHALL PREVENT MAHAMA FROM CONTESTING 2020 ELECTION - AMBASSADORS OF FREE SHS

The Ambassadors of Free SHS have vowed to use all possible means to prevent the flag bearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), former President John Dramani Mahama from contesting the 2020 Presidential election.

Speaking with passion, Mr Samuel Baah, the project director of Ambassadors of Free SHS lambasted the former President of the Republic for not seeing the need for Ghanaian children to enjoy free senior high education.

According to Mr Baah, Mr Mahama who is a product of free education has become a thorn in the flesh of Ghanaians therefore must be denied leading Ghanaians in the coming elections.

The Project Director of Ambassadors of Free SHS was reacting to recent mouth free comments by the former President that he will discontinue the running of the Free SHS program implemented by the NPP Government.

Responding to how their group were going to prevent the flag bearer from contesting, Mr Samuel Baah made reference to a statement made by the late Dr kwabena Agyei, former National Chairman of the NDC that "there are so many ways of killing a cat". "We shall exhaust our elastic limit to ensure Mahama does not become President again." The Director explodes.

It could be recalled that Mahama in 2016 sponsored over forty (40) adverts on both television and radio to discredit the then Presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party (npp), Nana addo Dankwah akufo Addo's promise to implement the free senior high school. His consistency of abolishing the program has triggered the wrath of the Ambassadors of Free SHS.

The Project Director who happens to be a senior high school teacher, shared a touching story of a woman who has to go gay after gaining admission for her son at Suhum Presbyterian Senior High School without paying a pesewa. This woman according to Mr Baah came out of the Headmistress's office shouting and jumping to the extent of rolling on the floor because she couldn't believe her son was going to attend secondary school. Other parents who were waiting for their turn to enter the Headmistress's office and other teachers around shared tears of joy for this woman.

"How on earth can Mahama be that insensitivity to the plight of Ghanaians by abolishing such a social intervention program that benefits directly and indirectly every single Ghanaian?" The director rhetorically asked.
