Out of about six hundred teachers across the country who attended the workshop themed "Education Connect", Suhum was represented with thirty five (35) teachers. Thanks to Oboafo Kwadwo Asante who for his connected cable and selfless in nature, got slots for some teachers to take part of this educational workshop.
The workshop which is aimed at connecting both the teacher and the student for effective teaching and learning was graced by the deputy Minister of Education and the member of Parliament for Abuakwa North, Mrs Gifty Twum Ampofo. As the special guest of honor, Hon Mrs Twum Boafo commended the organizers of the workshop which she is certain that it is intended to augment the new curriculum for quality education Government seeks to achieve for it's citizens.
Certificates were awarded to participants at the end of the training. Some trainees who were interviewed after the program expressed joy especially the venue, Lincoln community school, was excellently conducive for all this important training.
The Suhum teachers were grateful to Oboafo Kwadwo Asante for the opportunity given them.
This is the second time Oboafo Kwadwo Asante has sponsored teachers from Suhum to participate in such workshop. The first was in June, 2019.
