Ghana used Cloths Association is a group of people who imports used Cloths into the country to be sold in Kantamanto and some part of Ghana.
The General Secretary of the Association, Mr Kwaaning Asante Boateng addressing the media explain the reason why they are calling on the government to assist them.
According to them,the President should talk to the shipping agents, Kapoha to free them in dimoridge and rent, they said now the country is into crises and no one is moving out to perform their daily duties, where should they gets money to perform their transactions? Meanwhile the lockdown has totally affected them in their businesses, no one is buying nearther selling, so where should they get moneis to clear their goods .
Again, their monies are loans and need to pay them by selling their properties which is not a good impact, so they call on the President Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo to also free their duties especially the dimoridge and the rents, they believe in the President, so far as he has given free three months utility bills he can also do same to Ghana Used Cloths Association he added.
Mr Boateng continue to appeal to the Hon Minister for Trade and Industry to sincerely accept their plead and to help fight this Pandemic out of the country.
The General Secretary of the Ghana Used Cloths Association Mr Kwaaning Asante Boateng assured how safe their goods are and being fumigate before it gets into the country to prevent any virus.
