SUHUM: CELEBRATION OF EID, OBOAFO KWADJO ASANTE PREACHES PEACE AND COEXISTENCE
The NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Suhum Constituency, Oboafo Kwadjo Asante has called on Muslims to continue to exercise the strong coexistence among other religious bodies and especially among themselves this time around where politics has surfaced strongly.
According to Kwadjo Asante, the only way any Constituency or community can develop is to coexist which results into peaceful atmosphere. The usual peaceful and humble characteristics of Oboafo Kwadjo Asante was exhibited when he accepted to address the celebrants even though he was to address the Muslims after the NDC Parliamentary Candidate, Amanda Kwatia Okyere when she refused insisting the NPP Parliamentary Candidate does his first.
The NPP parliamentary candidate wished all the Muslims who are celebrating the Eid ul-Adha for the purpose of offering sacrifices to Allah for his blessings. He continued to entreat the celebrants to participate fully in the ongoing and just about to end voter's registration exercise for them to be able to vote for peaceful candidates both Presidential and Parliamentary for which he was with the strong conviction that His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo and himself best fit for the choice of Ghana as a whole and the Constituency as a unit respectively.
The Hon MCE took her turn to enumerate some interventions initiated and implemented under the three and a half years of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo and the NPP Government. According to her, it's only NPP Government which thinks about the zongo community hence the establishment of the zongo development fund. She entreated that giving His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo another four years is in order.
The NPP Parliamentary Candidate and the Hon MCE were accompanied by the NPP Constituency Executives and party supporters.
