The Headmistress, staff, PTA and the student body of Suhum M/A EXPERIMENTAL Basic School have called on the Parliamentary Candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Constituency, Oboafo Kwadjo Asante to come to their aid in the construction of modern toilet facility for the pupils and staff of the school.


According to the Headmistress of the school who was delivering her address during the second graduation ceremony, said, the situation is too bad and that the state of the current facility is beyond description. She commended the PTA for the effort made to bring the situation under control by supporting the school to have a new toilet facility for the school. She also commended the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Mrs Margaret Darko Darkwa for her personal support towards the project. 

The Headmistress therefore pleaded that the next MP for the Constituency, Oboafo Kwadjo Asante come to their aid.



On his part after being taken round and inspecting the current state of the facility and the ongoing project, assured the Headmistress, staff and the pupils, his support which will see the completion of a modern toilet facility for the cluster of M/A experimental schools. 


Oboafo Kwadjo Asante also pledged to take education as a priority during his tenure as the Member of Parliament for the Constituency. 



In his address, he congratulated the just completed BECE candidates and on their graduation for their endurance even in the mist of the pandemic COVID-19 were able to sit for their BECE. He assured them of benefiting from the NPP Government's implementation of the Free SHS. He also pleaded with parents present to maintain His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo and the NPP as we go to the polls come 7th December, to continue the free SHS which will relieve them of the troubles and struggles they would have gone through to pay fees to enable their wards access secondary education. 



The occasion which saw some NPP Constituency Executives led by Mr Frederick Ofosu and party supporters gracing it colourfully was the second graduation ceremony of the school which was themed "EFFECTIVE MONITORING AND EVALUATION IN PROMOTING HIGH ACADEMIC AND MORAL STANDARD OF THE CHILD".
