Our attention has been drawn to news publications trending on social media about the case between Hon. Kennedy Agyapong and Anas Aremeyaw Anas. The story which was first published by ghpolitics.com have the title "Ken Agyapong loses round one in Anas defamation case". We want to state that, there is no iota of truth in the story and therefore should be ignored and throw away the gutters.
The actual case is that, Anas gave a wrong address so the court ordered him to furnish Hon. Kennedy Agyapong with the correct address because, the address he gave is the same house where Kweku Baako stays. How on earth can this be a lost case? Some journalists of today have turned into politicians and being exposed day in and day out.
We are warning our media houses not to make prejudicial stories about the issue between Kennedy Agyapong and Anas because it's a serious matter.
We are with despair and shock at how our journalists today are engaging in unethical journalism. In as much as we agree that Journalism is the fourth arm of government in our democratic dispensation, we also believe they should be guided by some rules and regulations.
We want our members, family and friends Kennedy Agyapong and the NPP fraternity to disregard this malicious and deceptive publications aimed at diverting attention and twisting the main issue on the ground. We also use this opportunity to warn those journalists to desist from these unethical practices and rather use their talents to champion the course of our dear country.
