The District Chief Executive of Atwima Nwabiagya North District Hon.Rebecca Yeboah has promised to disburse the share of the 2% common fund of the Persons With Disabilities at the right time to empower them against public neglect.
According to her ,the Assembly shall collaborate with the District Federation of Disability Organization to create avenue for jobs to assist persons with disabilities to be able to provide their own needs and Cater for themselves to prevent them from street begging .
She also advised the public to desist from infringing the rights and freedoms of persons with disabilities but rather exhibit love and encourage them to overcome their challenges.
Meanwhile ,Mr. David Nkrumah who is the Atwima Nwabiagya North District Chairman of Federation of the Disable said disability is not the end of their lives,henceforth they must to found job to be able to join inclusiveness and equality group to avoid public stigmatization.
He called on the government to support the Federation financially in order to reached agenda 2020 empowerment goals through education, and job.
He made this statement during the District Federation of the Disable Organization celebration the World Disability Day.
